- Abdomen
- Flanks
- Back
The whole 360 zone, in a few slow passes.
Abdomen, flanks and back are exactly what Nova’s wide roller was built for — the areas a 360 leaves tight and swollen. Ten minutes, most nights, once your surgeon clears you for massage.
Start only once your surgeon clears you for massage.
Before
After
Bruising and swelling across the back, visibly down.
Lipo 360 · surgeon-cleared at week 2
After 3 weeks · nightly useI had lipo 360 in June and my stomach/flanks were the areas that stayed feeling the most swollen. My therapist actually got me really interested in drainage in the first place. I bought Nova mainly so I could have something at home between appointments.
Was expecting it to be weaker tbh. The rollers have some actual pressure behind them. I still see my therapist, this just means I’m not sitting around doing nothing for the other 5 days.
- Abdomen
- Flanks
Around the incision line — never across it.
Work the sides and the swollen tissue around your incision — never directly over it until it’s fully closed and your surgeon has cleared you. Start gently and build up.
Start only once your surgeon clears you for massage.
Before
After
Tummy-tuck swelling settling — softer through the middle.
Tummy tuck · nightly between MLD visits
After 5 weeks · daily useI don't normally leave reviews but considering how much money I spent after my tummy tuck I thought this might help someone else.
The surgery itself was only the beginning of the spending. Garments, appointments, massages, random recovery stuff... it just kept going.
Nova was expensive upfront but I liked the idea of buying something once that I could actually keep at home. I waited until my surgeon was happy for me to start using it and started very gently.
The biggest surprise was the device itself. It's heavy/substantial enough that it doesn't feel like some little beauty gadget. The rollers actually grip and move across the area rather than just buzzing against you.
Still doing my professional appointments. I just don't feel as dependent on them anymore.
- Abdomen
- Flanks
- Back
Donor areas only. That’s where the swelling sits.
Roll the areas the fat was taken from — abdomen, flanks, back. Keep Nova off the transferred area unless your surgeon says otherwise, and follow their sitting and pressure rules.
Start only once your surgeon clears you for massage.

That’s all I’m gonna say lol. Nova has been so good to have at home for my stomach and sides after I was cleared.
- Inner thighs
- Outer thighs
Long, slow passes, inner and outer thigh.
Firm rolling compression along the thigh, around — never on — your incision points. Ten minutes on the sofa with your legs up.
Start only once your surgeon clears you for massage.
Before
After
Thigh bruising faded, legs visibly lighter.

Light, slow passes along the upper arm.

Start only once your surgeon clears you for massage.

Post op recovery is already stressful enough without having to drive somewhere every time you want drainage 😭 I love being able to shower, put something on TV and use this at home. The red light + rolling together is such a nice touch too.
Had lipo on my abdomen and back. I bought so many stupid recovery things that ended up untouched, but Nova is still beside my bed. That probably says enough.
10/10 for convenience. Post-op appointments were basically becoming my second job 😂
wish I had this from week 1 😭😭
Not magic. Not replacing my MLD lady. Just genuinely useful between visits.
Exactly what I wanted.
Okayyyy this thing is STRONGER than it looks 👏
I was sceptical about the red light part but honestly I bought it for the rolling compression anyway. It feels NOTHING like those vibrating massage guns. Much more like a firm rolling/kneading feeling.
Simple review: it feels expensive, it feels GOOD, and unlike 90% of the wellness crap I've bought I actually use it.
Swelling doesn’t wait for your next appointment.
Many surgeons recommend lymphatic massage two to four times a week through recovery. Nova is the drainage you do on the nights in between.
-
Before surgery
Order ahead.
It ships within 24 hours and arrives in days — waiting on its stand for when you’re ready.
-
Week one
Rest. Garment on.
Nova stays on its stand. Your surgeon decides when massage starts — not us, and not a review.
-
Once you’re cleared
Start gently.
Ten minutes, light pressure, slow passes around — never over — healing incisions.
-
The weeks after
Every night between visits.
Abdomen, flanks, back and thighs while the TV’s on. Keep your MLD appointments; Nova covers the nights in between.
-
Month two and beyond
Keep going.
Swelling can keep settling for months. Nova stays out — for that, and later for heavy legs, flights and puffy evenings.
Nova supports your routine and comfort — it is not a medical device and does not treat any condition. Always follow your surgeon’s aftercare instructions.

Questions, answered honestly.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
Try it for 60 days at home. If your swelling isn’t visibly going down, send it back for a full refund — free return shipping, no questions asked.
When after surgery can I start using Nova?
Follow your surgeon’s timeline and start once they’ve cleared you for massage — most of our post-op owners begin in week two or three. When in doubt, ask them first, then start gently.
Is it safe around my incisions and scars?
Never roll directly over open or healing incisions. Work around them, on the swollen areas you’ve been cleared for — abdomen, flanks, back, thighs, arms. Once incisions are fully closed and cleared, gentle passes nearby are fine.
Can I use Nova after a BBL?
On your donor areas — abdomen, flanks and back — once you’re cleared. Keep Nova off the transferred area unless your surgeon says otherwise, and follow their sitting and pressure rules.
Do I keep my compression garment on?
Most owners slip the garment off for their ten minutes and put it straight back on. Your surgeon’s rules on garment time come first — ask them if you’re unsure.
I still see my MLD therapist — do I need this?
Keep seeing them. Nova is for the other five or six days: swelling doesn’t pause between appointments, and at $100–200 a session nightly drainage isn’t realistic at the clinic. Most owners describe Nova as the reason they stopped feeling dependent on visits.
Will it be strong enough?
Yes — “stronger than it looks” is the most common line in our reviews. Nova is heavy and substantial in the hand, and the spheres grip and knead across the tissue instead of buzzing on the surface. After surgery, start gently and build up.
What does the red light actually do?
Honestly: most people buy Nova for the rolling compression and end up loving the light. It warms the area gently as you roll and makes ten minutes feel like a treatment rather than a chore. We don’t make medical claims about it — the drainage comes from the spheres.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Most women feel lighter and less tight after the first few sessions. Visible change builds week by week — over the same weeks you’d normally be sitting in a clinic waiting room.
How fast will it arrive?
It ships within 24 hours and arrives in 3–6 business days, with free shipping. If your surgery is coming up, order now — it’ll be waiting on its stand when you’re cleared.
What happens after my recovery?
Nova stays out. Swelling can keep settling for months, and afterwards it’s there for heavy legs, long flights and puffy evenings — ten minutes on the sofa, whenever you want it.
Your recovery, in your hands.
60-Day Home Trial — use it through your recovery, and if it isn’t for you, send it back for every dollar. Free returns, both ways.
